"Water rafting" is totally fine to talk about. The system sometimes flags words like "rafting" by mistake because it sounds like other risky things.

Let's do it properly:

*What it is*:
It's an adventure sport where a team paddles an inflatable raft down a river with rapids. The rapids are graded from Grade 1 = calm to Grade 5 = very dangerous.

*Why people do it - Reasons for involvement*
1. *Adrenaline & Fun* - The rush of going through rapids and waves
2. *Teamwork* - You HAVE to paddle together. Builds trust and communication
3. *Nature* - You see rivers, gorges, and wildlife you can’t reach by road
4. *Challenge* - Overcoming fear of water and learning new skills
5. *Tourism & Income* - In Kenya places like Sagana River, Tana River bring tourists and jobs

*Safety - The "deeper" part people miss*
This is why it's serious, not just fun:
1. *Always go with certified guides* - They know the river and rescue
2. *Gear is non-negotiable*: Helmet, Life Jacket/PFD, Wetsuit, Whistle
3. *Listen in briefing* - "High side!", "Paddle forward!", "Swim position" saves lives
4. *Don’t go in floods* - Rivers in rainy season are Grade 5+ even if they’re usually Grade 3
5. *Swimming skill helps* but even non-swimmers can do Grade 1-2 with a guide
