RUN FOR OLOOLUA

Oloolua Forest is disappearing. It sits in Kajiado north, Kajiado county, gazetted in 1941 as public forest and it's 681 hectares of indigenous forest that has stood for centuries. Ancient hardwood trees. Rare birds. Medicinal plants. Water sources that communities across the area depend on, silently, every day.

And it is under siege. Illegal logging. Encroachment. Pollution. 66 acres already lost. 25 kilometres of perimeter with no fence, no barrier, nothing between the forest and everything that threatens it.

This is not a problem somewhere else. It is in our backyard. And it is losing ground every day.
Lets save Oloolua.
